German edition of Sauthier's important map of the Provinces of New York and New Jersey, published at the outset of the American Revolution.
A highly detailed extending from Delaware Bay, New Jersey in the South to New York-Canada border, and including large parts of Pennsylvania, the Country of the Six Nations and Vermont, based upon a map of same title by C.J. Sauthier, one of the primary English map makers during the American Revolution.
Sauthier was one of the principal British Mapmakers in the years immediately preceding the American Revolution and incorporates the latest surveys.
The map is at a scale of 1 mile to 16 inches and includes remarkable detail.
