Rare vintage pictorial map of the United States, by Edward McCandish, published by Hagstrom Company under the Bill Whiffletree trademark.
An earlier edition of the map was published in 1926; this edition, easily differentiated by the inclusion of the lengthy text below the map, was probably published in 1944 (date estimated by Rumsey, see his number 12115). The map was published as a companion to McCandish's Bill Whiffletree's Ration Map of U.S.
Black and white editions were issued in 1926 and 1928.
