Names of the regions of the old Aztecs settlements are given on the map: Aztlan, Tusayan, Cibola, Cenecu, Quivira, Kau-Ay-Ko, Tiguex, Quebez, Tanos, Jemez, Tehua and Taos.

Petermann's Geographical Bulletin compiled many of the great cartographic works of exploration during this period. The set is increasingly scarce and the individual maps appear only infrequently on the market.
