Rare Italian Map of the United States
Detailed map of the United States from coast to coast, published in Italy.
The map combines good early post-Lewis & Clark details with Italian place names, such as Alta Luisiana, Territorio del Missuri, etc.
The topographical shading on the map is well executed and lends a nice sense of depth to the image.
This is the first time we have ever seen the map and we find no references to its maker.
