Rare separately published American Sea chart of the Northeastern coastline of South America, drawn by Charles Copley and published by Blunt.
The map extends from the Orinoco River, Essequibo River and Demarara River in Venezula to Ilha Marajo, Belem and the Turiacu River in Brazil, centered on the coast of Guayana.
The coastal details are quite exceptional, lthough the mouth of the Amazon River and large sections to the North are still not well surveyed.
Rarity
The Chart is extremely rare. We note only the copy in the Library of Congress and a reference to the map in Mapoteca Colombiana.
